Yosi Messiah.

Yosi Messiah, born in Israel in 1964, embarked on a fascinating journey that eventually led him to Australia in 1987. Though destiny initially charted a different course for him, Messiah's childhood was marked by a vivid aspiration to become an animator. During those formative years, he immersed himself in the world of art, dedicating countless hours to sketching popular cartoon characters, with Mickey Mouse among his favourites.

 

Despite later establishing a prosperous jewellery business in Australia, Messiah remained steadfast in his pursuit of artistic passion. Driven by an unwavering commitment to his creative instincts, he delved into formal art education, enrolling in various esteemed art schools. His artistic odyssey took a significant turn when he became part of the vibrant community at Charlie's Shed Art School, stoking the fires of his creative curiosity.  In 1997, Messiah further honed his craft at the prestigious Julian Ashton Art School, marking a pivotal moment in his artistic journey.

 

Since then, he has maintained a steadfast commitment to his art, evolving into a seasoned and accomplished artist. Renowned for his success as an abstract painter, Messiah's work is distinguished by an evident love for intricate line detail and a vibrant, exuberant colour palette that captures the essence of his artistic expression.  

 

His decision to transition from a thriving jewelry business to a full-time artist underscores his unwavering dedication to his true calling. Yosi Messiah's artistic endeavors continue to captivate audiences, reflecting not only his technical prowess but also a profound passion for pushing the boundaries of visual expression.
